By 10:30AM, Team @NoNameNoTour crossed the border. We were officially out of 🇸🇮 and running through 🇭🇷, but the midday shift brought a whole new set of problems.
First, the temperature spiked. The morning chill was completely gone, replaced by a midday heat that turned the asphalt into a sauna. Second, and more importantly, the team was starving. To solve this, @AuroraPapotti turned into a masterchef, cooking up a massive feast of pasta, tomato sauce, and tuna. The only issue? We tried to fit all of it into a pot that was definitely NOt three sizes too small. With all that being said, our catering setup and prep could have been better...
By 3:30PM, the carbs were down, the heat was still on, and the team was running faster and faster through northern 🇭🇷 toward the coast.

By 06:00AM, the sun was finally up and @NoNameNoTour was already putting the first big block of kilometers behind them. This next four-and-a-half-hour stretch took us from kilometer 25 all the way to kilometer 105.
The route moved fast, passing through the village of Krka and pushing straight through Dolenjske Toplice. The runners kept a steady pace right through the streets of Novo mesto, before finally stopping the clock for this leg just before entering Črnomelj.
The morning brought better visibility, but the terrain started to show its teeth. At this point, the only thing hitting harder than the rolling hills was the realization that we still had over half the @EuroTrip.Run left to go.
By 10:30AM, 105 kilometers were locked in. The team finished the leg right at the gateway to Črnomelj, fueled up, and prepared to tackle the climb toward the 🇭🇷 border.

While normal people were finishing their last beers at Lepa Žoga Bar, team @NoNameNoTour kicked off the @EuroTrip.Run 2026 to Zadar from the bar's front door.
The first 90 minutes were a cold wakeup call. The team ran south-southeast through a completely quiet Ljubljana, heading toward Škofljica before hitting the main roads past Grosuplje.
The roads were empty, the temperature was in the single digits, and visibility was low. At this hour, the only thing moving faster than our pace was the realization of what we had actually signed up for.
By 06:00AM, the first runner exchange was done. Ljubljana was behind us, and the long road to the Croatian coast was officially underway.
